Welcome to the Duluth Oktoberfestival!

For the second year in a row, we are bringing everything you know and love about the Oktoberfest right here to Duluth, MN! At the annual Duluth Oktoberfestival you can find: cold German bier, delicious Bavarian food, authentic live music, tons of games and activities, and much more! So dust off your lederhosen, lace up your dirndl, and come join in on all of the fun the festival has to offer!
The Duluth Oktoberfestival will take place September 18-19-20, 2020 and is located within the confines of Duluth’s iconic Bayfront Festival Park (350 Harbor Drive, Duluth, MN 55802).

  • Friday 4:00 pm–11:00 pm – (alcohol sales end at 10:30 pm)
  • Saturday 11:00 am–11:00 pm – (alcohol sales end at 10:30 pm)
  • Sunday 11:00 am –4:00 pm – (alcohol sales end at 3:30 pm)
    • Sunday is our dedicated “Family Day” complete with tons of great games and activities for the whole family to enjoy!

The festival features a massive main Bier Hall with authentic German bier and food as well as several smaller tents with some of the region’s best craft breweries. There are tons of activities including a large professional kids zone area,  entertainment, live music, games, and ancillary activities that are fun for all ages.

Kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by parents and/or guardians.

We’re excited to welcome authentic Bavarian bands and musicians to perform at the Duluth Oktoberfestival. Whether you’re a fan of traditional German music or some of the local bands, the Duluth Oktoberfestival has you covered. Also, don’t miss out on Der Kinderplatz, our huge kids carnival area that will have a ton of traditional German games.

Authentic German food and drink is available all over the Duluth Oktoberfestival grounds. Food and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased with cash. All alcoholic beverages must be purchased with our Bier Tokens which are available for purchase from the various token booths spread around the festival grounds. We will have a wide variety food available, from authentic German cuisine to classic American fare. Our wide variety of vendors ensures that every guest will be happy with their food choices!

Safety is important to us at the Duluth Oktoberfestival. We want everyone to have fun and safe time so, because of this, there are certain rules that visitors must abide by.

All patrons entering the event will be subject to a bag check and pat down by security at the gate. If you attempt to bring a prohibited item into the event, you will be subjected to either disposing your item or denial of entry into the event. If you attempt to bring a weapon into the event, you will immediately be turned over to the Duluth Police Department.

Anyone attempting to bring prohibited items into the event may be subject to anything from a simple disposal of the items before entry to a complete denial of entry. Anyone attempting to bring a weapon into the event will immediately be turned over to the Duluth Police Department, who work closely with us and our private security team. LARGE BAGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

No pets allowed within the festival EXCEPT for service dogs (must provide proper paperwork upon arrival) and registered dogs participating in the Dachshund Dash.
